So as I said, I've officially made it to Nice. It is absolutely beautiful here. Very much like the Italian seaside, just beaches for miles and tiny little alleyways with tall buildings on hills and clothes hanging out the windows to dry. It's a very laid back atmosphere with a lot of napping on the beaches in different states of undress. I had my first experience of Nicoise cuisine yesterday, a chickpea and olive oil fried bread like substance served with spicy pepper called socca. It was delicious.
Today I'm off to Monaco so more on that later!
